Our Solution

The Helping Haath platform has been designed to centralise information about small organisations such as the work they do, their specific needs and how donors and volunteers can help them out. We aim to provide a platform to these organisations through which their visibility can grow to a larger audience of people looking to assist them.

Further Helping Haath reaches out to larger companies, individuals working in the field of nonprofits like founders of NGOs and speakers and activists to organise workshops, campaigns, awareness talks, and other interactive events

Our Inspiration

Small organisations don't have well established networks, visibility or funding opportunities as compared to larger NGOs. Therefore, they face a shortage of resources and attention from the public. They often struggle to gain visibility because of the existence of larger organisations and are not able to get much funding to run their organisations smoothly. The lack of exposure and resources in these organisations limits their power of creating impact.

Also, in an impoverished country like India, which is are deprived of education and knowledge, let alone skill sets- this knowledge can be simply about common topics like menstruation, financial education, etc. Even basic knowledge about these topics can contribute positively towards bettering the lives of underprivileged people.

About the Founder

Sanah Lamba

Sanah Lamba is a student of grade 11, studying in Modern School Vasant Vihar, Delhi. She is dedicated to contributing to the community and help uplift those whose cause, effort and situation don't get enough attention and visibility. She initially started off Helping Haath as a project to create a website and list small organisations so they can reach a larger audience and can receive increased assistance in terms of visibility and funding, among other problems faced by small unidentified grass-root level organisations.

Further, as an expansion to this project she began reaching out to larger companies, individuals working in the field of nonprofits like founders of NGOs and speakers and activists to organise workshops, campaigns, awareness talks, and other interactive events that give underprivileged people the opportunity to learn about unexposed subjects and matters they would not have been educated about otherwise.
